Beretta Combo
« on: May 01, 2011, 10:58:47 PM »
Probably not what your thinkin...No shotty here.  About 3 years ago, I came across The "Combo"..a really neat set up with one frame and 2 slides and 2 barrels...a 9mm and a .40 S&W...all marked "Combo."  The problem is that it's all BNIB...Unfired.   All the papers, both manuals...a 92FS and a 96FS...and a letter from the Cleveland, Ohio Beretta  distributor explaining the set are all there along with the original box , 2-9mm mags (10 & 15 rd) and 1-10rd. 40S&W mag.  This "Combo" was ONLY MADE IN 1998.  So, here it is...for sale.  Condition is 99.9%- exactly the way I got it...BNIB & UNFIRED.  There are a couple of very small handling marks and ZERO evidence of being fired.  Asking $1450/ plus actual shipping cost to your FFL.  Not really looking for trades..it'd have to be pretty special.  Pictures available by e-mail.

Means only one of the many "ifs" in the world.

As in only if I had the money.

Take it as a compliment, I sure would like to have that combo.

I thank you for the compliment, Reinz...and, you're right.  IF I were a collector instead of a shooter...I wouldn't sell this one.  Actually, I bought it when I felt the world as we knew it was going to change drastically and I wanted the ability to have multiple calibers in as few guns as possible.
I have a Marvel for my 1911, a 38/357 revolver and the Beretta.  That pretty much covered handguns.
I still like the plan...I just can't stand to have guns I can't, or won't, shoot.

I'm the other way around.  I have met few guns I didn't like and like to shoot them all.  And even worse, I don't get rid of them.
The Pack Rat of guns.  ;D

It's only listed here and on the Seecamp forum right now. Will listen to offers in the meantime.  Friday afternoon, it goes to GB.
