Although there has been a lot less "buzz" this year, I am starting to get excited about SHOT 2008. I will be covering it for Concealed Carry Magazine again this year. It feels like being a kid in a gigantic candy store!
On the downside, I am paying almost $200 per night to stay at a motel that I wouldn't normally give a second glance...

I probably won't get to the SHOT Show this year. I'm glad, though, that you will be covering the show for CCM and will look forward to reading your reports.
As for that overpriced, substandard motel, remind me to tell you some day about a place I once had to use for lodging in Karachi, Pakistan during one of that country's periodic episodes of political crisis. (I've not been too particular about hotels ever since.
