Who is making holsters and accessories?
« on: May 19, 2004, 07:54:29 PM »
Part of the headache of a new gun is getting the accessories we all want and need.

Who out there is making Rohrbaugh holsters and accessories already?

To be fair, Ron Graham is making holsters too, as is Azrael.  Wonder how long for the others that are not so connected to our pocket gun community?

I like the phrase "pocket gun community."

I think other makers will offer at least one holster for the Rohrbaugh in time. Most makers give little thought to pocket gun holsters to begin with, it is a ignored market for the most part.

Glad to say my K&D holsters are just fine tho - they need ''breaking in'' a bit.  One is OWB belt slide and other is pocket .. these pics might be of interest but . bear in mind I did them in a hurry and the belt one is a basic flash shot with poor color saturation.

I will probably in fact use the higher belt slot option at front of the belt rig .. liking as I do a generous cant.  You might just see that slot in the pic, which is using lower forward slot.

Ron Graham's web site is found at: http://www.grahamholsters.com/

DDGator is with K-D.

You have seen JR's.

I have no financial, business, or family relationship with any holster maker, except that I have appointed myself as Ron Graham's number one cheerleader. I can be quite obnoxious about my very vocal support of Ron's business. I love his products. Currently I own 38 holsters and other stuff made by him. I have two orders now outstanding that should bring me to close to 50 of his products.

Ron has several front pocket holster designs. He also has the Maverick, that is a rear pocket holster with a removable anti-print panel that allows it to be carried in the front pocket. The Maverick is becoming a very big seller.

His front pocket holsters include the Twin Peaks, my favorite, the Night Owl, Cookie, and Super Cookie.

As to the Rohrbaugh, he has several new designs ready, a couple of them he has posted photo's of on his web site. He is trying to time his new designs to the publication date of the AMerican Handgunner article of the Rohrbaugh, since some of his exotic holsters were provided with the gun for the article.

At trade shows, North American Arms, Springfield Armory, and Rohrbaugh have all used Ron's products as part of their presentation.

Rohrbaugh has made some special guns for use in a movie to be released. Ron made the leather (I assume with exotic leather.)

If you like exotic leather holsters, Ron makes great holsters in about 5 different exotic leathers. I won several sharkskin holsters, as well as a holster made in sting ray skin, and ostrich. Although elephant is becoming very popular. Price wise, Ron's products, especially his exotics, are quite reasonable.

RJ,

If I spell your last name Headley -- will I get a free one too?? ;D

Actually, I caught myself doing that on another forum -- but successfully edited it before it was seen...

I've known several Headley's, so I have made that mistake. But if it is necessary to do so in order to get free stuff, I'll be more than willing to change RJ Hedley into JR Headley!  :)

OK, RJ, I can not get your web site link to work...

We want to ensure that you get our bizniz..  ;D

I would like to get a right front pocket holster with extra magazine and with it made to not print at all; so that it looks like a wallet in the pocket, even if we are kneeling so that our pocket is pulled tight over the holster.  Also, I'd like the angle of the bottom of the magazine, which is exposed from the top of the mag pocket - to match and parallel the angle of the grip of the pistol.

The photo shown, shows the magazine butt plate angle different than that of the pistol grip above it, here on this thread.

I'm ready to order when you are ready to send me one please.

Hi Jody:

The photo on this thread is of a holster made by KD Holsters, not Hedley.
