Graham Neck Holster-Test And Review
« on: January 22, 2007, 06:08:21 PM »
Back in SEPT Ron agreed to build me a prototype neck holster for my R9.I have used his fine neck carry rig for my NAA .22 mag Mini Revolver and thought it might work for the R9.

I got the holster today and all I can say is WOW!The fit and finish is in typical Ron Graham fashion...perfect.It came on a heavy black coated chain that carries very well on the neck.

I was concerned that maybe it would be too heavy with 13-14oz. around the neck but it is not heavy at all.Now I have a big neck but it is hardly noticable on there.

Drawing the weapon is easily accomplished by the well positioned thumb break.

This is a non catalog item and he isn`t going to make any more.

Hats off to Ron and Ross @ Palehorse  on this.  ;D ;D

ROKTMAN- if you have a scanner you can scan it.  You'd be surprised how well it works.

We have been making neck rigs since '96 for the NAA minis and later the 7 oz. Kel-Tecs. When we did the Rohrbaugh pocket rigs we were asked if we would do the same neck rigs. NO

Unless there is a real demand for it, I just don't see the market.

I agree with Ron. Custom shop only - a novelty item.

Four month update on this.I still like the rig.I have supplemented it with a Ken Null lSMZ for other carry options. We are lucky to have many good holstermakers on the forum.
