Desantis Paddle Holster
« on: March 26, 2010, 03:18:45 PM »
Bought the Desantis paddle holster off of Rohrbaugh's website last week. Nice little holster for a paddle and Maria's favortie. Photos here:

Mark.  Excellent photos of the R9 and the Desantis Holster.  Never really paid any attention to the paddle holster on the Rohrbaugh web site, but it is nice; a good option.

Thanks. It has the quality associated with Desantis and as you said, it's another option. I do want to try that Recluse though!

Will the Desantis function well as a cross draw while seated in a vehicle?

I would think so. As you can see in the photos, there are two adjustment screws on the back...

Very nice indeed! Although I carry my R9 in a pocket holster, I like paddle holsters and have them for a 1911 and a P7. The adjustable paddle design is particularly useful in the cross-draw configuration for long automobile trips.

I'm a newly retired New York State Police Investigator and used a paddle holster for my issued Glock 37. The SP actually started issuing paddle holsters to B.C.I. personal in recent years. Before that you had to buy your own. Before the switch to the Glock 37 a few years ago, I had a Blackhawk SERPA for my G26. I found that the paddle is much more comfortable with dress slacks, practical and very convenient.

I saw that paddle holster at the Rohrbaugh booth at the shot show, and it is very nice.
Some years ago I bought a Kydex Paddle Holster from a nice guy on the forum, and I love it.
Pictured top left, it is a little thing, doesn't get in the way, easy enough to get on and off, yet holds tight to my pants.

I like them both. Does the paddle stay secure and not move around that much? Wish someone still made them. Love the CF one as it compliments the grips so well...

This little paddle holster does not move. It is small, holds the R9 secure and is easy access.

The other pocket holster is also kydex.I do not use it that much.

I'd like to know if Dave still makes these.

Always good to have another holster option.  Excellent.
