So, other options. Anyone ever try modifying a Crimson Trace from some other gun to work with the R9? The trigger guard on a Ruger LCP doesn't actually look that similar, but maybe there's something out there that could be made to work...

That thread makes me want to give up on this. A laser would be cool and useful, but it doesn't look like it's in the cards for this gun. Maybe I should swap it out for a more common gun in .380 plus a wad of cash. (Not really.)

Just curious, yankee2500... what do you have against the trigger guard lasers?

For the most part I don't like the looks, or the extra bulk it adds, and it means you need all new holsters.

I have e-mailed Crimson Trace so many times that I'm sure they're going straight to their spam folder. A lot of other forum members have done the same. I'm pretty sure that it's a dead issue. I might be wrong, but I don't think so.    Gene

I have to agree with Gene, it is pretty unlikely we will see a laser from CT for the pups.  When Ruger came out with the LCP there sales were off the chart and Crimson jumped right on it and made a laser. But Ruger sold more LCPs in a month than Rohrbaugh has made in 6 years.

It's why you don't see "22s" and lift kits on Rolls Royces.

While the demand may be there from the rappers, there just are not enough sales numbers.

Rap music is easy, just keep in mind that "c" is silent. That line would be much funnier if it weren't true.    Gene

If you have enough money you can get a Rolls with a lift and 22's.  I wonder how much money it would take to get some CT laser grips?   :o

The "suits" in the background don't quite match with these mack daddy wheels.
