Tung oil is the finish.
Afzelia burl is one of my favorite woods. I also like snakewood. Here's a set I made for my SIG P238:
And a set of spalted maple I made for my Para Carry 9:

Really nice work!
That finish really makes them pop! I am sure that the pictures don't do them justice. I would really like to see them in person.

It is truly beautiful work. And you ought to see a guitar of his. Yes, he can actually hand craft a guitar. Don't be surprised if 50 years from now a "Manley" will be up there with a "Fender" at collectors' auctions.
