Chrome Silicon Spring update kit

I too am interested in the spring update kit and sent an email. I assume these will come with the new higher load mag springs? I used to have 1-2 FTE's per 50 but have put approximately 200 rounds through my Farmingdale R9s with no further problems since the new mag springs were installed.

JP, Unfamilar with the change from farmingdale to Deer Park. Explain? I assume that Farmingdale is earlier models and Deer Park newer. Glad to hear your pup is hitting the 100% mark. Oh, I tried to use JP when I joined the forum and it was yours already. WS6

As I recall, the move of the Rohrbaugh factory from Farmingdale to Deer Park was accomplished sometime in late 2004 or early 2005, with only about 300-350 R9's being produced at the original Farmingdale facility.

"Thread drift" is tolerated pretty well on this forum.  The conversations usually get back on track -- more or less -- sooner or later.  

Meanwhile . . . some more nuggets of R9 history -- according to my recollection and subject to correction:  (1) The first 100 R9 serial numbers (1-100) were reserved for presentation purposes; (2) Numbering for those issued commercially began with 101; (3) Only 47 of the pistols were issued with serial numbers not bearing a letter prefix.  I am the proud owner of the 32nd of those -- No. 132, photographs of which I am prone to post at the slightest provocation.
