Well, today I got home from work and there was a message on my answering machine from my local FFL telling me to come down and pick up my new gun! I flew down (okay, I drove my car and obeyed all stop signs) and picked up my brand spanking new R9S! The owner said that he had never seen a gun like that before and he was obviously flummoxed (okay, he was just very curious but impressed!). I told him a little about the gun and the brothers R and he just couldn't get over how small it is!
Anyway, my undying gratitude (okay, my severe thanks) goes to Tom(TheIrishGuard...patent pending) for his outstanding service and attention in getting this powerful baby (okay, gun) to me in record time (okay, really quick!). He is a pleasure to deal with!
Unfortunately, I live in the city, making it necessary for me to wait until the weekend to put this baby (again, gun) through its paces! The wait will be agonizing (okay, a pain-in-the-butt!) and I'll be sure to post a range report next week (unless I get rained-out).
