Lint, or no lint - that is the question.
« on: July 23, 2009, 02:47:53 PM »
I noticed my R9 doesn't get dirty in my pocket.  No lint, no dust, no pocket crud, nothing.  How about yours?

My revolver comes out covered with tiny particles of dust and lint after only a few days.  Same type of pocket holster, same pocket.  I don't oil the exterior of the revolver or the R9.

The R9SF comes out clean as can be.  It might be the non-stick coating but I was wondering if others have noticed lint or lack thereof on their R9.

I see little or no butt fuzz on my R9, but I have to use my air compressor to blow the fuzz off my LCP at least once a week.

Lint wouldn't dare contaminate my R9.  ;)  Seriously, though, I think it must be due to a combination of the pistol's finish and its tight tolerances.
