Hornady told me some months ago that they were seating the primers slightly deeper. It sounds like they may have had some success.

Went to Range last night and fed it 50 GD115gr and  50 critical defense 115gr.  No problems.  I figured the CD was fine since it was not +P.  So now I have about 400 rounds through it with out a single issue.  Now it's time to clean this pup and judging by some of the threads, it wont be so easy.

Dberg.  Now that's a range report.  You're definitely good to go.  Cleaning is not that bad, really!    :)

Dberg - KJ is right, cleaning is a breeze.

Just on a smaller scale than other nines.  Take your time.

Use common sense, don't freak out if you see some shavings, thats not unusual.

You shouldn't have any problems, take your time and do it in a area were if something flies off you can find it. ;D

Dberg.  John does make a good suggestion, but don't think you'll have that problem.  Enjoy the little wonder.

Been reading more about CD and I was able to find a couple more boxes of it.  I shot 4 clips of it with no problems again.  Still flawless with ammo through this pup. I am not going to shoot it again until it is cleaned and change the spring.  I haven't noticed any difference with the way this weapon is firing but I will change the spring since it is recommended.

Dberg, you asked about bullet weights. I, personally have never shot a 147gr bullet in any 9mm that I own. I shoot STs  115gr exclusively now that they are available again. During the great ammo famine I was lucky enough to find GDs on "ammunition to go. Usually LE ammo in both 9mm and .380. As KJ put it I shoot what works. I hope this helps,   Gene
