I've never seen any numbers on the CF grips eithor.  I do have a set that was signed on the underside by a previous owner.

If I have not previously welcomed you to the Forum, I do so now!

The grips are not numbered to the R9s -- and thank Heaven for that. At least one us around here (modesty forbids me from further identification) changes out his grips like some men change neckties.   ;)
