That's the way things are going. They already need almost no reason to take your firearms in certain States and localities. We have to come to the realization that we have no 2nd Amendment rights in many parts of the country.

Last month a person I know requested that his NY Restricted Permit be converted to Unrestricted.  He's had his permit for several years and has no criminal record.  Just yesterday he received a letter in the mail stating that he must immediately turn his guns into the State Police.  He's consulting a lawyer for help.  He's gainfully employed, has a family, volunteers for charity.  I got a speeding ticket last summer and just paid the full price without trying to get it reduced because as he said to me..... "I did the crime so I must pay the fine"

I know all states are facing national control issues, but it seems like New York is at the least of right removals.

Apparently, N.Y. has found a new definition of probable cause in their exercise of our rights under the Fourth Amendment. This type of invasion of the Constitution is only in the beginning phase.
