its ok, ok. i've fondled the R9s a couple times and its a peach. buddies have had a number of positive dealings with seller.
here's the story:
i'm a "winter texan" meaning i live down south 6-months a year
i saw the pistol in a local shop and wanted to buy it
i don't have a TX driver's license (preferring to keep my oregon license) but that should be ok because the ATF says its legal for someone like me to purchase*
so far so good...
the issue is the pawn shop's rule say "
we can sell only to a Texas DL holder"
so i then asked if they'd ship to my FFL dealer back in oregon
nope, they never ship firearms, also a house rule
its a well respected shop (four locations) that just doesn't sell online and don't ship guns, ever
seeing that it can likely be picked up for under $750, i'm still working on possible options...

ATF statement:Q: May a person who resides in one State and owns property in another State purchase a firearm in either State?
A:
If a person maintains a home in 2 States and resides in both States for certain periods of the year, he or she may, during the period of time the person actually resides in a particular State, purchase a firearm in that State. However, simply owning property in another State does not alone qualify the person to purchase a firearm in that State.
