I tried twice with the same magazine to feed the HP with no success. It was extremely difficult to dislodge the jams, I mean difficult so I stopped. Ejected the HP s from the magazine and inserted round nose without a racking problem nor in past firing problem thereafter. Decided to seek the forum for thoughts rather than trying 3 other magazines on hand. Although I must admit I wondered if the magazine spring might be weak and need replacement? I Will be at the range this week and try again to rack a HP from a different magazine. It actually took a screw driver to raise the HP up from the bottom of the feed ramp which then did feed. Obviously I can not repeatedly go through this.

Perhaps new springs are needed? Would you know who is a supplier? Thank you for your reply an a possibility toward resolution. Ill try anything for I love the gun.

Rohrbaugh Range Reports / Re: Hollow point versus round nose rack and feed

Appreciate and very pleased you have no problem. Hopefully someone may suggest a remedy toward my fixing my problem. Eric might offer a suggestion yet have not asked for his comments as of yet for I wished to hear from others how they hopefully resolved their problem if they shared a similar situation. Best to you and thanks again for encouragement...

I use Gold Dot 124 and have done so for years with no problem racking or feeding.  Wish I could help.

Not sure if you guys saw this, but news came out this week that Remington, citing an industry-wide reduction in demand for new guns, informed employees on Monday that a corporate-wide reduction in employees, mostly on the manufacturing side, will be coming in the next 30-days.  Unfortunate to hear that it sounds like they are struggling post chapter 11

Interesting concept.

Lot of discussion on the internet as to whether or not a convicted felon could own this.  Since it's not considered a 'firearm' by the ATF.

I might be interested in one, as I like unusual things, but would probably get a Pedersoli Howdah first.

It is hard to follow your problem but it sounds like it may be a magazine issue. Have you switched magazines?
