Oh Fred - meant to mention - if you put your pic URL's inside ''img'' tages then they'll display on the page.  To get the tags easily - look above message box at the small icons and click on fourth in from left - looks like mini picture.  Then place (copy) your URL inside those tags that should come up - leaving a coupla lines of space after text.

Chris:

Lord have mercy, you're good -- maybe even a little bit dangerous  ;) -- with your mastery of digital imagery technology!  (We could have used you in one of my former lives.)

Fred:

Wow!  That is one beautiful layout.  The sight of all those turkeys made me want to break out my 12-guage shotgun.

Richard,... thanks I've been tempted many times to just pop one of those birds.  They are very tame and almost fearless ( or maybe just dumb) .  I've never eaten wild turkey, with the exception of smoked " Turkey/ Jerky" and it was excellent!

And Yes ,  I agree with you.. Chris is the man to ask!!

Thanks for the info Chris, ..... I'll try to do better!!  :-[

Fred:

Trust me, wild turkey is a gourmand's delight.  Fortunately, my wife has not yet placed them under her personal protection.

As for the raccoon, the little Judge thinks it's "cute."  (And this comes from a woman who puts people in jail five days a week.)  I'm on notice that to turn that raccoon into a "Davy Crockett cap" would be detrimental to my general pursuit of happiness.

As for the coyotes . . . Tom, I'm ready!

Richard, Raccoons are very bad vermin; if they get in your attic, nothing is safe. All wires, ac ducts & etc will be torn to bits. The house could even catch on fire. They are bad news and should be shot. I am not even talking about rabies. If folks knew that about the cute little bandits there would fewer of them. hmmmm   Tom

Chris:

You "broke the code."  Although I was working on a passable Pinot Noir tonight, I have now poured myself two fingers of Wild Turkey bourbon -- "just because I can."

NOTE TO ADMINISTRATOR:

Duane --  the latter part of this thread is just another example of the enthusiasm and random thoughts which can be expected when a new member of the Forum takes deliivery of the masterpiece.

Richard,
Sounds pretty much like something Fly said recently.
( " Your Honor, Just because I can...!") A good way to go through life I'm starting to think. Tom might disagree with you, he's a big fan of Bushmills, and is trying to convert me. And having a bit of luck I might add. This from an old Jack Daniel's fan.
Chris, I love Rooster Cogburn and a few years ago at the SASS "End of Trail" they had a John Wayne movie stage where that was the beginning of the first stage and you had to start from a horse, say that line, put the reins in your mouth and engage the targets. It was great. I'm glad other members of the forum are also fans.
Love the company name.

Terrific pictures.

Richard, I could spend hours watching activity on your pond.

Fred, you are a fortunate man to have a setup like that.  Is that a weather station sticking up out of the water?

Well, I missed a golden opportunity to take some pictures for the forum.

We counted 80 Canadian Geese coming ashore at our new place on Lake Huron.  I ran out with a broom and made strange sounds never before heard on the planet.

They moved out about 127 feet.  The length estimate is offered to inspire confidence in this report.

Sadly, the picture was missed!

Bill,

Hang onto that broom,... 80 Canadian Geese in and about your property could sure make your life miserable!  Yuck what a mess!!   :P

Not a weather station, .... those are houses for the Wood Ducks to lay their eggs, one house had 13 chicks that hatched out of it and the other approx. the same, didn't get a count on the second one, but did see a bunch " hanging" out and about that area.

Bill, I'm going to post a picture of the ammo, that I've been shooting since I've got my R9.

I've notice very little, if any difference in the recoil of these 3 rounds that I have shot.

I do have one box of DFA. Frangible Lead Free Bullets, that I'm anxious to try. Don't know what grain, or even how these rounds are measured compared to a lead or jacketed round, I just may shoot a couple in my Sig. to test the safety and
 recoil first.

Ok, I'm going to try and send the pic, per Chris's instruction, ... it's not easy being a Old man with a new Toy!

Tom,
That's a classy name. Bet your dog is a happy, carefree friend. My first dog was named "Yogi." She was little on the outside, but she thought she was a Doberman on the inside!
