Rohrbaugh R9 (all variations) / Farmingdale R9 Blue carbon grips value
« Last post by andyzx6r on Today at 03:40:20 PM »
Hello,

I am trying to determine a ball park value on my R9.  It is in mint condition and comes with box docs, and 3 mags.  Anyone have a educated guess?

Thanks for any input.

Other Guns / S&W Governor for sale
« Last post by MikeInTexas on Today at 10:10:51 AM »
I've been asked to sell a Smith and Wesson Governor revolver for a friend.

It's brand new, in the original box with all the paperwork, moon clips, ect.

This is the 6 shot revolver that will chamber and shoot either .410 shotgun shells, .45LC or .45ACP.

The .45ACP uses either full 6 round moon clips or 3 round moon clips if you want to mix the load with .410.

Asking $800.  (MSRP is $905)

Ideally we would do a face to face meeting in the Houston area, however I would ship for purchase price plus actual shipping costs to your FFL.

Thanks for your consideration.

Thank you Eric.  I think all is well.
John

Just so you folks are in the loop. . . . . .

John and I spoke and he actually has everything back in order. He is quite the resourceful gentleman!

His R9 is alive and well thanks to John himself. All I did was phone him and give him my thoughts and support, however, he already had it taken care of!  Love it!

Enjoy your weekend folks.

The wife and I are with family celebrating our grandson's 9th Birthday today!  Yee-Haw!

Regards to All,

Eric C. Rohrbaugh

I use mine. S.N. 00098.  They are actually a nice little gun for the money. Good Luck with your sale!

I have a brand new in box Remington RM380 for sale.  This pistol has never been out of the box.  Comes with two magazines (one with finger extension) as well as all papers in original box. Asking $275, shipping should be around $25 from my FFL to your FFL depending on your location.

Other Guns / Re: Geiger GRP

Lately I have messing around with the race guns and this is the complete opposite.  I am not  a race-gunner anyway.

It is a big heavy gun and made to be shot one handed bullseye style which is the type of shooting I typically prefer so I plan on shooting it.  I would rather have had a 45 but they were not available.  If you read the writeups about Mr. Geiger you will see that that is the type of shooting he designed it to be.  The sights are "old school" target type.

Shot the R9 (30 rounds of Lawman 124) without a problem.  When I went to disassemble the pistol for cleaning, the threaded wheel that holds the recoil spring assembly together had unscrewed itself and fell off.  I had this happen twice before.  The first time was just after I received the piece from Eric so I sent him the parts and he put it back together.  Then I happened again not too long ago and I got it back together.  This time I slathered the post with Loctite Blue and reassembled the spring assembly.  I suspect this could have damaged the pistol had it happened when I was firing; just really glad I quit when I did!
